A Home Condition Report contains information about the physical condition of the property, which sellers, buyers and lenders will be able to rely upon.

The report, which can be commissioned by the vendor of the property, is optional at the moment but is intended to eventually become an important part of the Home Information Pack.

Vendors who provide the report, as part of their Home Information Pack, will have an early opportunity to carry out repair work on the property or obtain quotes, prior to marketing.
